Original Xbox, PS2 and GameCube is best generation of consoles. Console gaming is soooo shit nowadays, but that era and the era after that (Xbox 360, PS3 and Wii) were so good.



That image is like 6-7 years old itself I think. It's definitely made to be ironic and rage inducing.


Xbox 360 was the best gaming timeline imo
N64 slapped too but the online era of Xbox 360 days will NEVER be topped or replicated

I 100% agree it's broken. But to be honest man, power creep is a common feature of video game expansions, especially for MMOs RPGs, MMORPGs, etc. Diablo 2 technically experienced this once before with the addition of synergies. That completely broke the original meta and introduced a whole new D2 experience. (Edit: oh, I almost forgot to mention RUNE WORDS...). The introduction of the Warlock may be much the same. While I agree the warlock should be nerfed, I don't think it should be neutered the way it appears it will be. Instead, use this opportunity to balance the Warlock, while also bringing up to speed other classes and their oft-forgotten skills: fire zon, cold zon, poison zon, zealadin, frost nova, double throw/throwing, etc. And in line with this, they need to break the monopoly that enigma has on so many classes and builds. Introduce new gear that can compete and serve to substitute the enigma, in the form of another equipment piece, for example. Boots with teleport, for example, could in theory free up your armor slot for a more class or build-specific armor piece.

Enigma is too op, so we need to create an even more op item so we get more options.. Got it

Given that enigma has been around for as long as it has, I don't think it's going anywhere. And i don't think players would want it to go anywhere, either. So assuming this as fact, in order to compete with it, you have to make new items that give players a reason not to use it. my understanding is that by and large, teleport is the central pillar behind enigma's insane power. Give another item(s) teleport, and suddenly you have options. It's the same logic as the raven frost ring. It would probably considered more "op" by melee class players overall if it had an exclusive "cannot be frozen" mod. However, unlike with teleport, there are a number of other equipment items that offer "cannot be frozen" mod, allowing players to mix and match more and offers more diverse builds.

I understand what youre saying, but having options to not being frozen (rendered completely useless as melee) and having the option to use one of the best skills in the game is different.

One is having defensive options, the other is just adding another OP item.

Im in hardcore ladder atm.

There's been a precipitous decline in players in-game and on JSP. I find myself running into the same people quite often. What's going on?


Jsp is at 7-12k daily average. That's pretty good. It was holding at 15k when the new char dropped.

Bad representation considering only like 1/20 players bought it through steam to begin with.
