Lol in all seriousness im sure its been tossed i mean its in all the others so itll either A. Happen in the next if there is a next big addition. Or B. Wont happen because of excuses like "Ruin the Core of what made D2..blah blah"

Look iv heard the excuse ppl saying dont add things or change things because itll ruin the core of what makes D2 such a classic. I played D2 and D2 LoD back in 2001-2026. I understand the worry. They do something like they did with Diablo Immortal or even D4 where it kills the items and the beauty of the RNG and its pool yes i agree. Whoever thought of Diablo Immortals and even D4 system of uniques and rares and ect should not get shot calling rights anymore. The only thing i personally liked about Immortal was its pvp. However its way newer and mmo. But just add things like treasure goblins and maybe pony level and some new items and runewords will always be a positive to a ancient classic like D2 in its Ressurected form. PPL who dont want changes cool i respect it. Then dont buy and support future content. Simple. Dont ruin D2R they say. IMO they could only do that if they added lots of failed expirmental things or changed current system methods. Like a recipe to repair a eth item? No. That would be dumb. 100% would defeat a massive fun OG aspect. Do what Project D2 did and ruin CTA and Enigma? No. Dont. That would be bad imo. It always depends. I love the portal system in project. Killing everyones favorite merc Waheed who was a traitor or Cow Queen. Neat Project ideas. But that just shows how much the fans want to keep playing the simple successful system of D2/R. They tried making too many changes in other diablo games and failed to just know what makes D2 that much better. Keep the core and any add will be positive. ROTW proved it. Thats just a pinch of what im sure many of us would have on the topic lol. It would be thousands of us who could talk about this for hours and its awesome. :ph34r:
