Im in hardcore ladder atm.

There's been a precipitous decline in players in-game and on JSP. I find myself running into the same people quite often. What's going on?

It's natural ladder behavior, once you get 99 and everything you wanted there is not much progression and other games pump more dopamine, D4 expa is coming.

Take a break, try different builds, play different game, come back, wait for ladder blast.

Anyone heard anymore details about the top 300? Any confirmed names on statue? I heard it was a bit of a sh!tshow (apparently the submit form was closed early for some people.. before 300 even hit)

If they make the warlock a weak character it’ll die a lot faster. These changes are insane to do to a character that basically revived your old ass game.

I would tend to agree with this. You should never debuff a character. If something has to be done, they ought to maybe tweak the Warlock and then buff the other classes accordingly. D2R at this point is a project whose scope has well surpassed D2/LOD's original design. They should take a great leap here to introduce a ton of new gear in particular. Gear that rivals enigma, and can serve as substitute to it. They were onto something with the sling ring. Create more gear with an eye toward expanding competitive build variety.
