Correct me if there are some discrepancies.
Some People always like to take statistics and argue and twist the point and fact that " Hey it's going down, it is not fair to say that they are going out PRs as freebies ",
without visiting the fact that numbers needs to include a span of at least two to three decades to show the real data.
I mean in simple terms...
Person A : The numbers are down, here are the current statistic....don't be a racist and fearmonger.
Person B : goes back to data and check the difference between Indian population which will need to include India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka (Ceylon) from 1995 up till now.
For Example, not exact statistics...it used to be maybe 500K to 800K out of a 30 to 35 Million Population and now according to an AI overview, it is 2.8 Million or more out of 45 Million.
An A.I overview from Google.
Part 1. Notice the bold part.
As of late 2025/early 2026, the Indian-origin population in Canada is estimated to be over 2.8 million, making it the 4th largest Indian diaspora globally.
They are the largest non-European ethnic group in Canada, with a 2021 census count of 1.35 million growing rapidly due to India being the top source country for immigrants, temporary foreign workers, and international students
Part 2.
Bold part is very important as it will effect and affect how Canada will become down the road, whether culturally or religiously and how language will be introduced.
The age factor is very important because when they reach the age of 40 to 55, this will be a rough age where they will produce politicians who will shape the nation.

Part 3.
Take note of Bold part.

It's generally pretty true but the numbers seem low, there are just so many Indians
It's always hard to assess how many Indians are citizens vs. PRs vs. TFWs. I know that a great deal of them at least around where I am are TFWs, which the government has cut back on recently. The thing about Indians is that they abuse their own people - Indian employers specifically being over Indians TFWs who they then withhold wages, abuse, break the law in their treatment of them because if they don't take it they threaten to send them back.
In BC they are mostly Punjabi Sihks
Certain spots in Canada have been essentially taken over by Indian hordes, like Surrey or Brampton. Surrey I'm pretty sure wasn't an Indian hellhole 20 years ago ask
