Trying to figure out what's GM

I have up to 490 cold resist stack via gear and 20/11scs

Wondering if I should put an ohm in my 2soc circ or two 30cold res jewels

For light resist it's common to use a lo +20 percent from wisp just wondering if cold is similar since blizzard can do roughly 17k max dmg

It depends which rule but its like 410+1 raven

When I read gm rulesets I think they are
1. Outdated with new sunders and new jewels
2. A bit illogical since 410 vrs a max geared cold sorc would be -5resist then the sorb

Would be way less DMG taken to simply stack more resist and not use raven

No idea about new sunder and jool. Dont apply in gm rules that I know of.

What does the cold resist rule say??

The dfc rules say 420 stacked resist with raven, 450 without.

Just doesn't seem to math proper when you consider all the -resist a cold sorc could go

Jmod, 6 cold mastery weapon, ect.

This is for pubs so just trying to have a setup where I can vrs cold sorcs and it's balanced but I'm not being an asshole.

Pretty sure 420 with 1 raven is better. I dont think dfc allows rotw gears??

And for pubs fuck the rule go 6969 cold sorb with 69696969 cold res

I'm curious how often lamp wins that matchup in sparring? I watch dfc pretty regularly cannot remember last time i saw a cold sorc (es or vita) win a round

Im a telebowa. We did many ft4 or ft5 when both active years back i won 75% of matches vs lamp and other blizzs.
