Please, if anyone approaches you on any social media site or in real life and claims that they will pay you to cash a check (cheque) for them, you will be arrested during your interaction(s) with a bank teller. And, you may face felony charges and prison time. The person who has deceived you may never be caught. They rarely get caught. But, you will. Even if you are desperate for cash, aka unpaid bills, going to be kicked out of your home, lost job, etc..., it is not worth taking that chance. Please, be safe. More and more people are falling prey to scams.

My neighbor a long time ago was dating this girl who got one of those bad checks off Craigslist for like 5 or 10g I can't remember but it was a lot the check worked she took all the cash and spent it in a few days on drugs then went to jail never seen her again
