I've read the discussion here with a lot of interest and observations. I think what has happened here is generation clash.
On one hand we have an oldschool gg item (which only old timers will understand), on the other hand you have a new wave of players focusing on what we have in D2R right now.
I'm sometimes really amazed how easily people are judging and hating.
But on the other hand I think
you also made a mistake - by posting it here

(try Coooley's discord and his throphy room channel). I think you could've also done better job describing why this item is good for a wider audience (for instance explaining what bugged tal and blood mana are and why people still play legacy D2 and what is a throphy there).
