Softcare dueling obviously has a ton more technical skill, but if you want your 40 year old heart to beat so fast your wife gets worried, try HC PVP at least once in your life

Pvp is the best part about this game. If Blizz gave us some love with balance and QOL more ppl would play. Spectator mode or a couple dueling arenas with some kinda item ban list maybe idk just some ideas. Been seeing lots of newer ppl trying pvp out lately and there will be even more after ladder season rotates.

The one issue with pvp is certain communities can be very toxic (as you can tell by the replies to this thread) but that happens with every game ever.

I came back to D2R a couple years ago after not playing for 15 years just for the pvp, I honestly dont care much for the pvm. Doing the same 5 acts for 20 years is monotonous and kinda sad tbh. Heralds kinda made it worth for the chase items but even then im not really enjoying it, just doing it for the reward. PVP is the real endgame.
