I highly recommend it to everyone. The feeling of working on a PvP character in Diablo 2, equipping them, and then actively competing against other players is amazing.

You don't always have to be the best or best-geared player in town. It would be great if players who want to try it out sooner or later actually did.

Even if many say there aren't many people looking for duels right now, there are always a few. The more people create characters, the more will happen on the PvP scene. It's also a great way to manage a project in Diablo 2.

Many people also play PvP in private games. You just have to find them.

in classic i had a bvb, and then in 1.08-1.09 i did a bowa, ww sin, bone necro,
but my favorite was a custom zeal vs zeal pally when people had the constricting rings, hexing charms, ith gear etc.
built with 100% legit items and used a 6os phase blade with some numbers of shaels / Los / bers or something.
used conc aura instead of fanat to be somewhat uninterruptable, and had more FHR/FBR than people typically ran.
people would just be in recovery lock till they fell over, and they probably could have 2-3 tapped me.

anyhoo i play offline now. i've considered playing bnet to make a MLD or LLD. seems like fun.

It's a fact that many new players don't touch PvP, or they have no idea what to look out for. I think it's about time again xD

Of course. I've had many lvl 30/49 and high levels to duel on. Can't wait for blizzard to stop adding all this pvm bullshit and all the PvMers quit again just like in LoD.

It's always been my assumption that the majority of people that dislike pvp never seriously tried it or only did pubs. And their first experience in pubs was in LoD and someone was farcasting or something and they aren't aware actual dueling isn't like that at all.
