I see a new hammerbuild with Hellwarden's will instead of Shako, and Void instead of Hoto.
Thoughts on this? Void and Hellwardens that much better?

Higher damage output. Also with HoZ instead of spirit. Playing one right now on HCL.

Same damage output on non-magic immune and much more on magic immune.

really ? that doesnt make much sense

doesnt every monster have 0 base magic resist

so 15% would just be 15% dmg, and -10% res would just be like 7.1% damage with all the magic resist it already has?

let's say you have 10k hammer dmg and -30 magic resist atm and you have to choose between -10 res and 15% dmg

option 1 would be:

10000 * 1.4 = 14000

option 2 would be:

(10000 * 1.15) * 1.3 = 14950

besides the magic immunes ofcourse but those are insanely rare

A good handful of monsters have 33, 50 or 100 magic resistance in hell.

really?

that must be something new to me, i thought only certain crazy bosses like ubers had reasonable magic resist

but if like 33% of all the monsters have that i assume it might be worth it, otherwise i think that 15% dmg is still much better than 7.1% dmg from the -res vs the rest

100%. I use a lot of time doing A2 TZ, so there is 2 main monsters there with magic immune.
