Ok we will do this. Standard rules will be the default and players will have the option to agree to an AOW match instead. Great idea. I ll update shortly.
Rules of Engagement
The Art of War BvB - rules:
To be fought in Act 1 Blood Moor (Norm)
FT7
All item's Must be visible this means to Strength bug
No Ladder-only runewords
ATD cap 50
Mana Potions prohibited
Runewords prohibited: Grief, Fortitude, Death, Phoenix
DR Cap @ 45DR
Max run speed 100% (does not include Increased speed skill)
Life Replenish Cap +25
Open Wounds cap 10%
Poison Damage cap 200
Do not use potions.
Do not precast.
Do not use slow.
Do not enchant.
Do not run.
Do not use items that emit auras which affect player vs. player (PVP) and cause physical and/or elemental damage.
Do not emit the holy freeze aura.
Do not cast item/torch charges.
Do not use any Buged items.
Do not use temporary armor or weapons. (Do not use ethereal gear that doesn't have repair/replenish or indestructible.)
You must have enough strength to pick up your body without switching gear.
You must be engaged in combat at all time's, this mean if you happen to run out of mana do not remain stationary.(Conc shifting)
You may change gear twice during a set
Using a token mid-challenge is not allowed.
Dueling should be done in Normal mode.
Draws - If neither player survives a walk back to town, counts as a draw. No point awarded to either player
It can be required that both show gear before a duel if one feels the other may be using ethereal non-repairable gear
