As much as I like pvp in this game, they do not balance this game around pvp and do not care about pvp (even if it's the only thing that kept d2lod alive forever after all the PvMers left).

There's a reason why we need so many community made rules to make it even a bit balanced, they created a mess.

Not so different from competitive fps games. Things are removed, league play is dialed in with restrictions, guidelines for match creation. Things are and will always be further balanced regardless on how good anyone could ever try and balance PvP in the game

Honestly, we're lucky that there's certain damage and skill restrictions in pvp at all and stuff like piercing guided arrow isn't a possibility.

But yes, the community will always be the ones to pickup the slack in the end regardless of how hard they try to balance it (which is zero effort at all).

/Who command is super useful

I want two more commands

/negative_resist player name
/Show status effects

So you can gear vrs opponents with -resist and can show status effects such as slow.

If they did these two things we could all self balance easier especially in pubs where the rules are looser and not everyone might realize that going -20 phys resist on a smiter is BM

With a botd gpa, hustle, ber ber coa and string/dungos you outrange them enough that you can win decently often.

That was my shapeshift druid buff suggestions. Would zero percent affect windy/fire druid

This is vrs pure smiter or hdinn. V/T there is no chance because they don't have to get close.

what about smiters who use enigma ?

since their damage is close range and you have 2 range on them you can win. with evade from hustle, near max dr, 10k health, 20k ar, and huge fury dmg & attack speed it's possible to win. Their main disadvantage is having near zero defense

Their main disadvantage is having near zero defense so charge while attempting fury is rough but if you time it proper you can outrange and out movespeed them for wins

well I usually have a lot of movespeed on them, teleport and smite take frames, you have about a 50/50 chance to evade then attack at max range. It takes skill but honestly owns noob smiters and can do decent vrs good smiters.

again is it op, no way. With near perfect gear can you win sometimes, yes.

also 90fhr from coa/hustle/dungos/bloodfist makes you really fast.

teleport takes 10 frames, smite takes 6, that mixed with evade gives you a chance to run to range 4 start fury and get a hit off then run away again from smite spell

A very talented telesmiter (or v/t) who actually knows how to play the class is an extremely difficult matchup for basically every class/build, especially for any class that can't afford to l8z.
