Not even RNG, hes just lying. Set items actually drop less often on that MF. It does make for a lot more rare items though. Not a ton of difference between 300 and 4200 for uniques though.

Only worth it if you're solo clearing the whole game because you have 8 accounts or you're on single player. Otherwise it is a waste of time.
