I may have been misled

Well, you understand that at least 46% to 48% of Americans do not have a passport right ?
That tells you a lot , not their fault that they think this way though.

Furthermore, there is still a significant amount of Americans think and believe that countries like China, India, Ethiopia and even Indonesia still lives in a Hunter Gatherer economical state.
You also realize that some Americans think that their moon landing is fake and photo shopped right ?

I know it is hard to fathom why they think that way but it is what it is.

America is not the only country that thinks like that, a lot of countries that are huge in land mass and population i.e China, India and even Russia, there are people who think funny stuff like the earth is flat.

The internet did not exactly help to be honest, although it should help people to see the world a lot more.

The reason why America stands out is because they are by and large the most educated, militarily powerful and richest nation in Modern history.
That is the reason why you will scratch your head when they think the earth is flat or the moon lading is fake.

29-37% of americans never leave their hometown, 60% of those aged 18-42 live within 100 miles of their childhood home. Explains why a majority of the United States is set in their ways and ignorant as can be.

Yup, the only ones that travel are either in the military or in major cities i.e L.A or New York especially the Bankers and traders.
Black people don't travel or work overseas a lot , but those who do. This is what happens.

Asians are racist towards black people for sure because there is this notion that the lighter your skin, the higher class you are. That being said the racism towards black people in Singapore or Indonesia or Malaysia is pretty much free of any violence or slavery which is a drastic difference from Western power dynamics.

Not sure if you watch the clip.

That being said the bold part is somehow correct. Because back in the days in East Asia and South East Asia and even in South Asia (India).
Dark skin or tanned skin means you work the fields which means you are a peasant that is why you are being looked down upon especially in India, if you look at North Indians even though they are "dark" they are light skinned.
Which is why they always somehow get the top jobs in History. The South Indians especially Tamils are like the lower caste.

That being said in East Asia... China / Japan / Korea, historically speaking due to Confucianism and Neo Confucianism. The farmers are somehow viewed as more " important " than Traders.
There is a Caste System in East Asia which is different from other parts of Asia.

1. Emperor / King / Royal Family
2. Scholars / Shoguns / Samurai
3. Farmers
4. Traders / Businessman / Middle man.

The Middle man is seen as the bottom of the caste because they produce and " Nothing "

But the key is.... in East Asia ( Back in those days)...you can be born in a lower caste system but if you manage to get educated you can climb up to the top.
There are examination systems in Japan / Korea / China since the Han Dynasty ... the same time the Roman Empire were at their peak.
The stereotype that East Asians likes Maths and Science play piano and violin is somewhat true.

So far "racism" in other parts of Asia i.e Japan / Korea / China is slowly on the rise..... well The Johnny Somali Case will give you a good idea why.
Most Africans specifically Nigerians are creating a lot of trouble. They sell drugs in Lan Kwai Fong area in Hong Kong.

Some of them think that they are in the West when they are here in East Asia...recently an African was beaten up like a dog in Hong Kong.. He got off the cab without paying and spit at the cabbie...so the people around gang up on him. It was funny as fxxk.
I mean in some places in the West the driver or cabby would have probably just let it go.

The so called racism is also aggravated because of Western and America media...you do realized that Youtube have a lot videos on these guys ya ?
The covid years didn't help much either, there were tons of videos that show black dudes beating up old Asian grannies and some of them aren't even Chinese..they just look East Asian.

The Stop Asian Hate campaign went utterly silent after awhile when your politicians realized that most of the perpetrators are you know.... them... so they have to shelve the program.
You are not wrong to say East Asians are racist...but there are good reasons. R

Furthermore Racism exist in all races...just because you are black / yellow / white / brown ..it doesn't matter..You will still have racist tendencies.

I've lived in several major cities in the U.S. and so far I've been robbed at gunpoint once, my car was stolen with locksmith equipment once, my converter underneath my car was stolen from a parking lot, and I was assaulted by a random drunk once (standing outside smoking a cig minding my own business and sucker punched)

my experience living in several major cities in Indonesia is completely different. not only do I never worry about someone trying to steal from me or take out their violence randomly on me, my neighbors are actually helpful towards my day to day tasks and smile when I pass them by
