That’s actually not a good sign.
One of the requirements of “battle pass” type content on steam is a defined start and end date.
That doesn’t mean what’s happening but seems odd to have it on steam and nowhere else.

I’ve seen things like this get leaked ahead of time on PlayStation and Xbox, but yes, I agree that it’s odd it’s not on blizz official forums as of now

The post on Steam mentions when the ladder ends, NOT when the next ladder begins. We went a few days between ladders last time - that is NOT a confirmation of the beginning of the next ladder.

The distinction is incredibly important for people planning time off or whatever, as they are not the same thing and can easily mislead people.

TL:DR the title is incorrect and can mislead people. Wait for start confirmation, not end.

Here is an example of the distinction and why the difference is important.

If you told people "hey ladder starts Feb 11th at 9am," then people would take off work for that day in anticipation for the reset. Then, imagine their surprise when the ladder does not actually start until the 20th.

The distinction is VERY important.

We have been given ZERO information about the transition between s13 and s14, and more specifically the change between 3.1 and 3.2. Sure, the post could be correct, but until we know that there isn't going to be a waiting period, people who don't account for this are making an idiotic move.

If a bunch of clowns parroted this incorrect info (Edit: I should say incomplete and unconfirmed info, as the post could be technically correct with the right followup info) and caused me to waste my vacation time, I would be fucking pissed. We need to keep the information accurate and correct from the getgo or misinformation is going to adversely affect people's lives. The title should not be "the 14 Season Will Begin On May 23." but "Season 13 Will End on May 23." and I will die on this hill. If I prevent even one person from dealing with that heartbreak, it will be worth it to me.
