Free Conviction is gamebreaking, so remove it.

You've missed the point I was making on gating Conviction. Moving on.

My only skin in the game here is I don't like act 2 mercs and enjoyed running an A5 Plague merc with a Conviction demon. The loss only means I'm back to an a2 merc holding an Infinity and Cure instead. Oh no.






And these things should be addressed as well? This isn't an all or nothing scenario.

It just doesnt make any sens that a char can have such god qol vs another who needs 2 HRs to get it too

Why were people using a demon with conviction in the first place?

Holy freeze + amp would apply amp to the whole screen… didn’t even need conviction on warlock

Conviction is for fire and bloodboil mate.

Chaos lock - flame wave, ring of fire, apocalypse. On hell you cannot kill, you get sunder and it's very slow, so you need sunder and conviction, skills and minus fire res to score p8 tz.

Bloodboil has the physical and fire dmg component, but for p8 tz you need to pump up too.

?? You using logic wrong. The comparable is taking those off CTA and enigma. Conviction isn't part of warlocks kit.



If there was a single build in the game that used any of those for auras then sure. But there's not except niche garb stuff like summon nec and bowazon. Being able to create an end game power character for 1 or 20 hard points in a skill is silly.
