If so, thats sad. Not sad for the skill or the game, but sad because it shows that the people behind the PTR dont understand "their" game - which is concerning to say the least.
Its weird. Could they reallly be so detached, while also making such a great DLC? Not great on terms of balance obviously, but great in its foundation.
The new class feels very D2, the QoL changes were carefully chosen and so on. How could the same people be ignorant enough to not know what their skills do?
Like Macohan said above, it was probably different devs that created the skill and that worked on this PTR.
They probably only looked at sheet damage and didn't look into the skill to see how it actually works.
I do want to say though, i've done very little testing with demons. Someone that has tested them more than me i'd be welcome to get their input on it. I could have just been imagining the difference in tankiness, since i was more interested in finding an ES build that worked on budget gear haha
Think i spent like 15, maybe 20 minutes max on playing with a summon Warlock before i moved on because it's basically unchanged unless you're doing Blood Boil which i didn't enjoy playing myself.
