how have your gas station coffee adventures been lately

I've stopped drinking coffee pretty much now.
The raise in price has curbed my crave.
I only drank 1 cup a day pretty much anyways, so no biggie.

I spent 20 dollars on coffee 4 years ago, still have it to this day.

you save the small cups and refill them w/ regular instead of buying the small sealed cups again.

you can also re roast or steep coffee and refortify the flavor w/ chicory root, saigon cinnamon, chocolate raspberry and other things.


caffeine isnt great for you, thats the justification. not price

That's my justification

that forces you to address the core issue - coffee world wide is made too strong. even the cheaper brands.

dilute it in half and youre where you need to be in the caffeine/energy intake. you enrich it w/ flavors outside of the bean caffeine.

perhaps can share his recent coffee plights/adventures, i do beleive he may be self brewing these days. he spoke of flying in a coffee subject matter expert for training purposes. preferably a recent grad, dual major liberal arts degree holder flown in via cessna

My most recent coffee outings were rather expensive. I skied for 31 days and many coffees were purchased at the resort, many at Lost Boys at the top of the Timber Chair at Ferni (Not my photo). Thankfully a minimum wage paid Australian or New Zealander (they service all ski resorts in North America) wearing a hipster toque served myself and wife. Did they have a liberal arts degree? No. But I assume they were poor and struggling financially which makes the 6 dollar coffee taste all the better.
