would need lvl 15 still if you want holy freeze, else lvl 1-14 it will just be cursed, cuz you only unlock the automatic aura enchanted at lvl 20
so only builds wanting Conviction Aura, Holy Fire Aura, etc would need to 15 to unique and grab the restricted aura instead of rolling the new pool
we can assume that, but the patch notes are not clear if they will restrict it also from demons found with those auras already on them

defiler:
big defiler fan for echo, less for fire with its massive aoe and more valuable tainted consume, dgaf about abyss, and demon maxed mastery anyway

potentially blood boil too (huge radius nerf for this one tho)



yes less available to skill oath is nerf, however I think people can get good on the character with huge vit and tanky demon np
demon HP will have to be seen but their DR seems massive enough and engorge exists
yeah ofc we don't know yet how hard they will nerf the demon's hp
but if you have to keep an eye on him and cast engorge, that's also a big QoL loss, not just time lost.

unclear, this could be interpreted in many ways:
Removed Conviction Aura, Holy Fire Aura, Holy Lightning Aura, Blessed Aim Aura, and Might Aura from possible pool. When these roll they are now replaced with Fanaticism, Vigor, Thorns, Concentration. Holy Freeze can still roll on a bound demon.

and yeah amp hit is enormous but thats mostly an echo problem
also a blood boil problem

Need 20 hard points in bind demon to be able to bind super uniques, or 15 hard points to bind uniques
That’s starting to be a lot of extra skill points lost elsewhere

Overall this look like ES will be about 10% as good as what it is right now.
Prob still B+ or A tier, but won’t be top 10.
A min/maxed build looks balanced after the nerfs, but it will struggle early instead of being a no brainer pick.
The more accessible sunders is also an indirect nerf. That was the one class that didn’t need a sunder. So the sunder scarcity was making warlocks better.

I’m not complaining at all.
I loved reading every single nerf.
I’ll still play warlock and probably enjoy it more if it finds balance and is more challenging.
But I doubt it will be able to compete with hdin, javazon and sorcs, both early and late.

Common as fuck, but a GG roll (30% FCR, 110%+ ED, bonus if high roll on -magic res and magic find) seems pretty rare
