So does anyone know the length of the weapon/shield situation coming tomorrow?

It seems like spirit/phoenix + others will not be possible with two handed?

Will Obsession be obsolete? Eth Fort, etc.

Cant really find the answer on whats to be expected

I don’t even use spirit as is.
And ptr =/= patch

It’s a trial run so to speak.
Some things are more likely than others to be in final patch. 2 handed/book and dura being almost guaranteed along with the damage nerfs.

Eth weapons will be obsolete (for echoing strike) without rep, or indestructible mod - the change to weapon durability is definitely going to stay whenever they do implement the patch

The two handed thing only being allowed with books isn’t really that big of a deal aside from the cost of these books will absolutely sky rocket and stay steady throughout ladder (assuming most people will start with lock like they did this ladder)

I bet things balance out quite a bit in terms of class popularity. Everyone played warlock this season because it was brand new and OP as fuck.

Next season it won’t be brand new or OP (probably).

But you’re right I lm sure the books will still be expensive.

Why would eth weapon be obsolete now? Sorry, just trying to understand :)

Yeah the population of warlock users will definitely take a hit, but it’s still shiny and new even with the nerfs

Phoenix wasn't that good before. If anything, it makes books interesting for itemization, and significantly raises the value of Ars Dul uniques.

Blizzard rarely iterates very far from PTR data. I expect eventual further changes to be related to sunders/heralds.

Because before the patch ethereal weapons didn’t lose durability with echoing strike, with patch they will lose durability with echoing strike.

This doesn’t hurt fire build eth weapons or demon build eth weapons cause they don’t use durability, but echoing strike won’t use eth weapons unless they have repair durability mod or indestructible mod
