My company discovered they had been accuring my PTO based off my original hire date vs my rehire date. So for the past 4 years Ive been gaining at a faster rate.

At least they arent taking what ive already gained. Guess Ill have less time for the catacombs from now on.

The rehire was still worth it I think. They likely would be still be paying me at a lower rate.

Damn. I have like 100hrs of vacation but only 30 or so of sick time.

I only get PTO and have to burn it within the year, can't save it up.
80 hours to burn before July, usually get 120 took 40 for vacation in October last year.

I'm hourly so if I miss a day because sick I have to burn a pto day or eat the hours.
Talks of salary were on the agenda for us this year, I politely protested
So the reason I get no sick time is on me most likely. Though I haven't taken a day off in like 5 years, only when I herniated my spine, was out 3 days.

damn really? When I started with this company I got to accrue up to 120hrs each of sick time and vacation. Now that I've been here for 5 years It got bumped up to 150 for each. Plus we get 2 floating holidays at the beginning of each year and all the random paid holidays throughout.

80 hours PTO, no sick leave or benefits here.

Iso better opportunity.
