Yao and Tracy being 1st ballot makes the argument for embiid reasonable. He has very similar accolades to tmac but also won an mvp.

Good point, if Embid can play 2-3 More 50game Seasons with Decent 26-28 point per game averages then he will be Enough to be in HOF for being a Great Skilled Modern Center. :o

Embiid has ready played more games than Yao and his peak years shit on Yao's. Not even comparable there. I mean Embiid's worst seasons are better than Yao's career best lol. I know Yao's impact on the international game was a big reason he got in though.

As for McGrady comparison, he has more games played, but doesn't have an MVP and doesn't have an Olympic Gold Medal like Embiid does.

So team accomplishments are the reason he shouldn't get in?

Got it

Pretty dumb statement. His teams have been good enough win a 2nd rd. He wasn't good enough and didn't elevate the players around him to win. Sixers have lost to basically every team in the east

Raps
Atl
Knicks
BOS
Miami

There's no excuses. He simply doesn't perform well enough to help his team win a 2nd rd playoffs, hence lack of playoff success. He can win all the regular szn awards he wants, he isnt a first ballot.

His teams have been good enough to win 2nd round? LOL clearly not.

He has had multiple playoff series where he averaged 30+ or was flat out dominant impact wise on/off splits, and they lost.

His best teammate for most of his career was Ben Simmons and Tobias Harris. The same Ben Simmons who quit on his team during a playoff series and refused to look at the rim.

Getting past the 2nd doesn't mean shit if you don't win it all. The only reason Jokic made the finals just ONE time was because he had the easiest path in NBA history playing a bunch of low seeds, and he also had a guard who balled out and carried WELL beyond the level of anyone Embiid had played with...

Tracy McGrady (first ballot HOF selection) career playoff record: 19-31

Yao Ming (first ballot HOF selection) career playoff record: 12-16

Joel Embiid career playoff record: 29-30

Not first ballot though because of playoffs. Vtrix logic

Those guys dont deserve to be in there as well LOL. Yao was an international phenomenon. Represented the game outside of usa. But if thats your bar, clearly isnt s first ballot LOL

Chris Bosh
Manu Ginobli
Grant Hill

All first ballot HOF selections. No MVPs, And none of em even averaged 20 PPG for their careers. Embiid clears all of them by miles. The only thing they have is games played.

Oh and pease, don't tell us they have titles either. Bosh as a #3 option after not being able to do shit himself. Spare us the fucking time rofl. Robert Horry has how many rings I guess he should be in as well by your logic.

Keep hating mah boi
