I love everything from that era! Gameboy, Gameboy color, Gameboy advance, n64 GameCube, ps1, PS2, Xbox original, Xbox 360, PSP...

They're all incredible consoles, but there is still not a better game than diablo 2. I've played games that were better than d2 in certain aspects, but none that was better in total than d2.

Also, halo reach was pretty fun dude...

I think this game is pretty timeless. You don't really need nostalgia goggles to enjoy it. But I do believe a new player would have a hard time enjoying the original D2 without nostalgia goggles, just because it's pretty ugly by today's standards. From what I was reading it was kinda ugly back then too by 2000 standards as well.

But I got my ex to play when d2r first came (well, NVM I just looked up the release date, I thought it came out in 2023) with me and she enjoyed it a lot. She was even playing by herself when I went to work, so she did enjoy it. Afaik she still plays too.

Also got a buddy from work to play with me and he still plays daily.
