Just curious if BH pals are still popular and as effective as they used to be now vs 10 years ago (when i played last)

just starting back up and just like to mindlessly solo farm for fun and want to go with a build that isn't nerfed or crap compared to most

Hammerdins are actually better now with the newer items from ROTW introduced that lower enemy magic resistance and increase magic damage.

so definitely still good to play :)

can still use the old every day setup. still just as good, there's just better now :)

but Hellwardens helm with Magic uber jewel. Sling rings. Horazon boots, meant gheeds belt, and the new void runeword benefit Hdins the most. including the new Sunders as well of course :)

yeah.

and Gheeds belt. that's what i was trying to think of when i thought of the boots. knew there was a piece i was missing ._. lol.

if you get a 5%+ fcr ammy, can get to 125% fcr without spirit shield as well, letting you use HoZ for a bit more damage.

for raw damage, yes. spirit is still spirit, so it's still an amazing shield. HoZ just gives a little more damage output :)
