I'd like to try to make a lvl 16 requiered crafted 20FC amu
According to D2planner it would take only ~6 times to make one




I just need to gamble an item lvl 5-6 (6 is better odds)

What lvl should be my char to gamble? 10/11 ?

was surprised aswell, but i'll try it, doesn't cost much.
Which char lvl is the best to gamble ilvl 5-6 (preferably) item?

16% to roll 10fcr as regular modifer + the 5-10fcr crafted modifer.

1% to roll the 10fcr regular modifer plus 10fcr on the crafted mod.

There's a 1/17 chance for a high enough level crafted amulet to get the 10% fcr suffix, because at ilvl 71+ it will always get 2 suffixes and it pulls from the pools with a pretty big weighting for fcr.
Then the implicit 5-10% fcr craft affix has an obviously 1/6 chance to be 10%
hence 1/102 chance for any crafted caster amulet to be 20% fcr
which is slightly below 1%

I've a char 95 that would be the best to make profit, but at start of ladder i'd like to give a few try to get highest FCR amu I can get
what would you guys say Clvl 10? 11 ?

1:6096 would probably be closer than 1:6.096

its funny cuz OP voluntarily cropped his screenshot to exclude the only stat that mattered

Odds of rolling selected mods: 1/6.096 (16.4%)
Odds of rolling selected values or higher: 1/2816 (0.04%)

But also, those odds are lying

Crafting number of affixes based on iLvl
Ilvls 1-30: 4 affixes (20 %), 3 affixes (20 %), 2 affixes (20 %), 1 affix (40 %)
Ilvls 31-50: 4 affixes (20 %), 3 affixes (20 %), 2 affixes (60 %)
Ilvls 51-70: 4 affixes (20 %), 3 affixes (80 %)
Ilvls 71+: 4 affixes (100 %)

you only have 40% chance to roll 1 affix
and if you don't, then you automatically fail cuz a 2nd affix will make the lvl req higher

Figure out what affix you want and don't want then you can figure out what lvl you want to aim for.

I'm not sure what you're asking, you're gambling the magic amulets you use to craft? Most people don't even bother including them in craft packs because you can just gamble them yes, but the gamble cost stays the same at all levels so as long as you're high enough level for edge + gheeds at 62+ you're getting the full value. The odds of getting an amulet usable for anything but crafting fodder are less than 1/20000 (even if its 1:2000 unique, the uniques are mostly worthless) so it doesn't matter what level you use to gamble them

Unless you're saying you want to deflate the chance of getting +skills on a craft amulet by having too low of a craft ilvl, which makes no sense
I mean, that's like throwing money out a window
