I'm about to convert to a freeze pally but wanted some advice on skills and weapon combos.

obviously grief would probably be BiS if was focusing on more of a physical zealer/fana build

but i was thinking of trying something different with a Doom BA

then maxing HF synergies and running conviction and Zeal.

Whats everyone's experience/thoughts on this? bad idea?

mainly just doing PvM but would do some PvP for fun

My thoughts? Sounds like it would suck... Unless you're fine doing p1 content.

If you play p1 it's fine
but that's really just a much weaker version of tesladin / self-shock / phys zealot

if you run self-conv and only have lvl 12 HF, that's some very low cold dmg (but also very low phys dmg)
you better use grief and self-use HF, put infinity on merc (but even then, probably still just give merc reaper, cuz you'll still do more phys dmg than cold)

max synergies
use conviction

seems a little pricey for a build that has a small chance of being decent hahah

Frostmaiden zon?
Immolation arrow zon?
Bladesin?
Demon machine Enchantres?
Demon machine mirrored blades warlock?
Riftsin?
Cold ele druid (not wind elemental, this one concentrates on hurricane)
Fire trapsin?

Lots of builds you can play that aren't top tier but can still do p8, but just not at the same speed as S tier builds.

Maybe try a fire druid? It's pretty good now, a tier build imo.

done em all before didnt care too much for them. minus Ice bow Frostmaiden. might check that out

and minus warlock its just so boring

It's actually very strong. Can clear huge rooms in p8 no problem. Some heralds on p8 can be a little tough, but it can still clear them. The more density the stronger it is.

Trust me, it's really fun. Also surprises me that you've done the much much less common immo arrow zon and not a frostmaiden!

Also the mirror blade warlock build is pretty fun with demon machine. It's not a 1 hit kill button like echo strike

ill check it out for sure. never made a mist bowa either and i do love a good bowa build.
that warlock build seems goofy to me ill have to look and see what is about lol honestly not much a fan of the Lock too OP
