that's indeed what I have heard, especially that C++ ( a low-level language) which is like the foundation, or "mother" of other languages, and it's good to start learning here first.
can I ask you how many languages you are proficient in?
Zero, poked around in and could continue if I wasn't lazy with my brain 2, a markup language I learned in college which you could probably guess, and very little in python.
I'm in a jack of all trades kinda IT position where I learn a little of everything enough to be dangerous then not much more.
We don't do much coding, and if we need some swift application to say ping certain PLC's or devices without typing them in one by one we usually use AI to create the interface.
