I've known for years the classic way of leveling has been.

1-15 trist runs
15-20 tomb runs
20-25 cow runs

then chaos to 60+ --> baal or tzchaos/tz baal.


For the last few years I've just been going straight into hell chaos @ lvl 1, takes a few games but over all it felt around the same amount of time it takes to level the classic way to 25.

My question is, is it more beneficial from lvl 1 to just level in norm/nm chaos games until 25, or are there any other strategies I'm unaware of that save time?

I found that ancients at level 24 saves a lot of time while doing hell cs runs

Yea that makes sense lvl to 24 then hit ancients, I guess thats something, but at 24 thats maybe 1 or 2 runs in hell chaos. Hmm I guess nothing beats the tried and true.. Going to test how long it takes to go from 1-25 in norm or nm chaos. See the difference.. Im surprised no ones tested yet though.

I find it tough to kill in hell chaos reliably at level 1.

But to answer your question, I like chaos 1-20 and do 1 norm cows and then ancients and then chaos 25 to 60. The slowest part is 20-24 in chaos, takes like a game a level.

But what I meant is do you gain more exp leeching in norm/nm chaos vs hell pre 25.



Yea honestly when Im not lazy I do it the classic way, if im already grushed in hell I just leech chaos games even at level 1 since it takes about 20 runs to hit 25, once at 25 you can get to 60 in about 10 runs. I'm gonna actually count it and time it. Gonna test 2 chars I have 2 lvl in hell. I'll report back!

That might be true, but if you're going to level 99 saving your norm and nightmare ancients gives you a huge boost at 98.

Question is if at level 98 you get 1,400,000 Exp faster than you would level from 24 to 25 in chaos

Considering 24-25 in chaos takes 3-4 games usually in p8, let's say the games are slow... 5-6+ minutes each... That's somewhere around 20-25ish minutes...

Maybe farming p8 tombs tz can get you more than 1.4mil in 25ish mins, but I haven't tested and I personally just do it the old school method and save my ancients until I'm 98.

I don't run trist waste of time
I just do the Quests and once I'm act 4 I'm lvl25
