You need to find long-term goals to chase. People need a purpose.

When I'm turning my cans into the redemption center or visit salvation army, I am reminded that if these outstanding contributors can work I don't see much of a case for anyone else.

I had this neighbor who lived in the apartment upstairs on full benefits section 8 her whole life. We used to do yard work cuz it was in our lease but the landlord took it out and said he was gonna pay her to do it and she would complain that we stopped doing it.

You don’t have to seek out the love of a partner. I’m sure some of your friends love you? Cherish that love while you work on yourself, until you love yourself.

As for drug addiction, sometimes relapse is a part of your story. It doesn’t make you any worse if you relapse. You just have to learn from those faults and use that knowledge to get past them.


Do you have a good support system? Lean on them as much as you can.

Have you tried distracting yourself by caring more about others?

I feel you I don't wanna live either. Never fit in with any group of people no matter how hard I tried. Never really had any hobbies or interests, I've always just blew in the wind with no direction.
