Some users are exploiting a social media site's donate feature by staging animal rescues. Many of these staged animal rescue place the animals in harms way or in undue stress. The donations often going to the content creator's bank account and not to the care of the animal. Come on peeps, are we humans or snakes?

Next time you scroll through social media and come across a heartwarming animal rescue, stop for a moment and ask: is this real?

A new report has exposed a growing trend of fake animal rescues flooding platforms like Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, and Twitter/X.
These videos, designed to tug at your heartstrings, often show animals in dangerous or distressing situations—abandoned, trapped, or under threat—only to be
'heroically' rescued by the very people who put them there. All for views, likes, and shares.

I know people need money. The economy is f**ked. Yet, please, do not torture animals to make an easy dollar. You sick f**ks. Heeheehee I am beginning to like swearing. Forgive me.

Should probably lump many non profits/charities into this too.
You're right though it's disgusting behavior.
Always more than a couple in the handful turning peoples sympathy against them and lining their own pockets.

That is a weird phenomenon. Even bad press is good press for people doing harmful things to add to their wealth. It's freaky.

Only a few people here practice what they preach regarding treating animals how they deserve to be.
