These are my favourites or ideals since I haven't found a Cursed + Might with 2 immunities (or theory, since I haven't tried chaos/fire yet)

ES Demon:
Cursed
Might
Stoneskin
Immune to Lightning or Fire
Immune to Physical

I'm not sure why everyone wants Fanaticism over Might? On Arreat Summit - it appears like the damage boost should be higher with Fanaticism, but it's not... Might >
Yes Fanaticism boosts even more heavily with IAS but we about that FCR life for ES.

Chaos Demon:
Cursed
Conviction
Fire Enchanted
Immune to Fire or Lightning
Immune to Physical

Not too sure about Chaos as I won't try it still until reset. And if anything is impossible to roll on a Hephasto, let me know please lol. I'd rather not keep chasing an impossible Emotional Support Demon...
I know the Uber Izzy Venom Lords can be amazing for Blood Oathers (which I do) but I've only done like 10 Ubers and havent seen a Venom Lord worth scooping there.

Am I missing anything, or completely off on anything?

They don't want a might demon because might aura from a merc can be a higher level, so might merc is better for stacking multiple auras and none of the other auras from the merc matter unless you want to use prayer anyways.

1) why do you care about immunities on demon, they never die, if they do, its because ubad.avi

2)why are you not wanting cursed +holy x aura

what about concentration (pride) for merc though?

eventually I think I'll settle on ETH Insight CA/Archon main weapon, then Pride (concentration) for Merc and then still my ideal Hephasto. The Fort TM has been nice but I think it won't figure in once I'm really trying to stack auras.



you not wrong, but when your own health is bound to that demon in such large proportions, its a safety measure - especially trying to run tougher areas, ubers, p8 souls etc
i haven't fleshed out max res yet still around 50 for each in Hell

i havent been too picky with the rest, cursed + might with immunities is all I look for

Pride stacks with them. The aura doesnt replace a different one. That only happens if you have 2 of the same aura where the lower level one is overwritten.

- Find a black lancer in world stone lvl 1 (does not always spawn, so have to try until you find).
- Have 5+ people join and terrorize it. Or can be solo but 5+ people makes it have auto curse.
- Have your bind demon be lvl 20 with gear (use demon gcs, +all skill items) to guarantee an aura
- bind a black lancer (there are many so you can get the aura you want)
- it’s the BIS demon right now, you will never go back to Heph once you try it

ok but how are you getting Might on a merc? with Last Wish, or is there another way?
I haven't really considered other Act Mercs as traditionally far weaker but with these demons, it does appear any act merc could be more than viable

A2 merc has might aura as a base option
