Chronicle only works for the players who were in the same game where the item dropped.

Game is still up, item still un'id friend. Ill let the new owner id it.

Not how it works. You need to be in the game when the item drops, not only when it's ID'd.

It was a nice gesture, but unfortunately it just doesn't work like that. They would've had to have been already in the game when the ettin axe dropped from the monster and in your party to be given credit. They do that to prevent scenarios like this from occuring.

No problem, my friend. The only items you can "cheat" on in the chronicle are the runewords, since you can buy all the runes and bases and even make a majority of them on non-ladder where certain things are cheaper. Non-ladder and ladder chronicles are shared, while softcore and hardcore is not.
