Not sure what I'm doing wrong. The one I can't complete is an elite task called Spec'd out



I'm using dclaws to spec then tele'ing home to recharge and specing again til dead. First time it failed I figured it was cause I had ring of suffering on so he was taking a little recoil damage. Took the ring off and did it again, it still isn't passing. I'm only hitting with specs.

Anyone know what's going on?

Nope. Just normal stuff. Suffering was the only thing I have that would give off a damage effect.

maybe somebody entered inbetween and hit the boss

They aren't. I did multiple and it's rare that someone comes by between banks.

I have +3.5k kc and it's super rare when someone ends up crashing. The chances of multiple times in a row people were coming by, hitting him once and then logging, they would have just killed cause he was over half health.

Just do your specs and sit tanking with auto retal off
Surge pot and/or lightbearer.

Does leaving the room fuck it up?

I believe so.

I'm pretty sure i used Chally specs or just a dds when i did it way back when.

okay. I'll try that next time. I've finished the task unfortunately. Got some decent drops though.

I've got more smoke staves and d chains from thermy than I have occults so gg haha

But yeah just try and stay in the room with defo no recoils or auto retal. Might take a min or two extra but you can easily sit and tank him with w/e food while regenerating spec
