send your boil build then!

light soso crescent moon crystal sword, fcr ring, fcr 10 2 soso amulet to get 117fcr, seems bit better in p8 tz tombs

Could you be more specific is this enigma or viper, spirit or facets or what? With a 2/17 ammy, spirit builds have sojs, because mages spirit arach griffon ammy is 117 already. If you use vipermagi and facet monarch and 1 opalvein you still hit 117 but dont need 2x fcr rings even then (but can use a 15% ammy)

Blood boil I compare to is
mang song (d-fire) / ars baalos (facet)
2/20/2 facet rare circlet or 3/20/2 magic or just hellwardens with 1
enigma, arach, magefist, resist boots
crafted fcr ammy (15+) and 2x opalvein
demon skillers, torch, anni, cube, sunder (I favor +damage)
infinity a2 merc (I use cure + greyform + protectors stone, but cure + coh works too)
holy freeze cursed demon

You can run those numbers to compare

right now i got this and p8 tz tombs/chaos is good (comparing to ES)

crescent crystal swd wpn -35%
griffon with guardian titan jwl
amulet +2 10fcr
fcr ring
soj
arach
mage fist
coh
spirit
tri res boots

120 fcr
-62% light res, still need crack heaven -7-10

(you can do magic with viper/soj/amulet with 17fcr, enigma up to preference)

playing with barb bo and doing ghost dance before big tz farm

I am sure it's possible to do mambo jumbo with, 6x -5/5 facet crystal sword, 4 facet armor or 4 facet shield, but you will teleport once and go oom, will have to compensate res with expensive sht

So assuming same setup above, that's up to 18145 avg with -75 pierce + 85 conviction
-> against non-immunes deals 36290 per hit, against immunes deals 17601 per hit, at 12 fpa
And with that same exact gear except 2x soj (because 105) nova would deal 10445 to non-immunes and 5066 per hit to immunes, at 8 fpa

Now again contrast that to a 9 fpa blood boil hitting a gigantic un-aimed 'larger than nova' area for 12.9k per cast with 55 fire pierce, conviction, amp, sigil and 56% defiler, so it becomes ~25.8k (40.3k defiler) vs non-immunes, ~15-15.6k (23.4-24.3k defiler) vs immunes, kinda depends on % dr, though a dual immune will take just ~7.8k (12.2k) but they're pretty rare. Now a saving grace of lightning in this comparison is that lightning can hit twice per cast, but honestly its a bit limited in actual practice and less common than defiler hits pumping up your dps, because lightning is less likely to hit twice against overlapping units if they're moving towards you. Its way more reliable if they're already at your merc and stopped to attack, but the motion of them moving through the bolt passing towards them gets them out of its aoe by the nextdelay. Its a lot dependent on speed/size of enemies because of the 1/5/9 tiles they occupy and 5 tiles per lightning that needs to overlap 2 enemies, big slow enemies can be spaced out more and less likely for a bolt to overlap 2+ enemies and shotgun the lasthit between them, while small fast enemies move out of the aoe in those 5 frames.

Anyway we long had this tradeoff where nova hit a wider aoe but did less direct dps, so it made it better for density clearing but worse for champions and bosses. But now warlocks are so OP they get to have the best of everything, comparable damage to lightning in a bigger aoe than nova. And casting faster than lightning even if its still a frame slower than nova or teleport but whatever, that's also with a free infinite tank free full juvs splashed on you nonstop and able to stack slows and have a bunch of +% life and 43% all damage mitigation because warlocks are cruise control for cool

Do you predict Lock nerf or power creep from bUzzard?

In a normal day I'd predict we never see another patchlog in the future of this game so the fact its seeing any support has been a huge surprise, I don't pretend to know

Locks are on 99, you want to play something else too, but not slow af.

So Nova and Light sorc are ok.

What about Fire druid? Slow or ok?

fire du is stronk and clears faster than hdin, also enjoyable to play imo because of all the skills
