warlock on 99 (played echo and fire, both very fun) so, want to play something different with still a decent speed

nova is ok speed p8 tz for me, so anyone playing light soso?

hammer is kinda slow though, small radius
java is ok in tombs/chaos
fire sos is slow af
maybe will try ele fire druid after

I only play my light soso on p1 at 200 fcr for statues farming so irrelevant here indeed. Works just fine for p1 but dmg starts to get weak on p8.
This makes me want to try a 105 setup on p8 so I will check that out and let you know.

My 105 lite sorc on p8 is strong but aim dependant. Density clearing is a bit slower and can be squishy, but great for sniping.

Tombs and chaos only? Okay then light sorc totally fine to rip through that. Crecent moon as wep, griffs and infinity merc. The rest up to your taste.

200fcr is mega fun, good for keys etc, lower p count, then it's losing breath a bit with p5-p8

don't forget lightning and chain light fcr breaks are 52/78/117/194



It's kinda high density clear speed benchmark, you go there on p8 tz and you see how well the build is doing there, which is most relevant for latent farm - that perspective

Full GG light or nova sorc is faster than echoing strike, especially for density clear. People don't know what they are talking about and just go "warlock op" without even playing P8 games most of their B net careers. Echoing strike is pretty trash without amp and is a elite sniper not density clear (terrible aoe). The only major difference is echoing strike is bugged and doesn't require gear so in a ladder race warlock is strong since sorc doesn't have gear yet. but for end game farming Light sorc in max gear out performs warlock by a lot in clear speed. Echoing strike is not even that good nor even 1/4th as strong as mosaic was. Light sorc has always been S tier for p8 clear ever since LOD even before sudners and power creep in d2r.

true, I will play nova for a bit p8 tz is ok and then switch to classic light soso 117 to give it a try, last time i played that build during d2r release
