D2R automatically updated a patch yesterday no longer letting me open the game.

I run it from battle.net app and/or then just a shortcut for d2R


I have tried
deleting data folders
Updating info build
Scan repairs
Restarts
Check for windows update (I am on version 10)
Deleted any mods like -players 7 in my shortcut as I play strictly single player

Have not tried deleting saved games since I only
Play SP


No luck

You tried to edit your file to pose online as if you found all that stuff legit and now you're paying the price.

have you tried reinstalling, make sure to save your characters just in case

I've had to reinstall other games before because of auto updates. If things are still wonky you can try installing to a new directory if you have one.
