Why is it okay to keep a cat in a small apartment?
Maybe having any pet or domestic animals is cruel towards them. Allow their freedom, pursuit of life liberty and all that. Right?

All the cats I've ever had have come from humane societies. If they never got housed from there, they would eventually be put down. Even being in a small apartment, which mine haven't, would be in a better place then there.
