Was impressive seing Jokic hit some of those shots

I have a serious question for you guys. Why do people often drool over and fantasize about Victor Wembanyama's greatness? I understand he's a great young center with an amazing skill set. He could very well go down as one of the all-time greats if he continues to play like he has for the next 15 years. He's already a sensational player with a lot of potential. I'm not taking anything away from him.

But at the same time when people talk about Alperen Sengun they respond to me very awkwardly and merely brush him off as "he's just okay I guess" ... When in reality Sengun has established himself as a 2x NBA all-star and is only 1.5 years older than Wemby. Also Sengun has already had some nice battles against Wemby head-to-head before. Including a 45-point and 16-rebound game.

I'm not trying to stir the pot and say Alperen Sengun is better than Wemby. A better passer for sure though. I'm just saying the gap isn't as crazy as some people think. Alperen Sengun is as close as you can get to a young Nikola Jokic. Maybe Wemby's ceiling is going to be GOAT status and that's fine. I just turned on the TV and all I see is Wemby this and Wemby that. I turn on sports radio and all I hear is Wemby this and Wemby that. I go to sleep and all I dream about is Wemby. Why is Wemby all over the place? LOL

I can only imagine if social media were around in the '80s and '90s during Hakeem Olajuwon's best years. Maybe he would've gotten more praise for his dominance.

In basketball the person that is the tallest/biggest that ALSO has really good agility and nimble movement is very fucking rare. That is what makes Lebron the best, there is no one as agile as him that matches his size (I am super simplifying it as Lebron has insane basketball knowledge and will power ontop of that). People saw Embiid as a better Lebron becuase he (when healthy) has a lot of finesse and movement that is really good, and he is bigger than Lebron. Then it was Giannis. Taller, stronger but most importantly FASTER than anyone on the court. He has laid low since winning a ring tbh. Now we have Wemby. taller, stronger, and FASTER than everyone else, except he is WAY taller than everyone else so its quite the thing to see. If I believed in god I would pray for his health if only so he can have a long career and we can see what he is capable of.
