As I had expected the Jessica Pegula and Iva Jovic match turned out to be an exciting three-set thriller.
They both have a similar game despite being 14 years apart in age. Both are very good clay court players.

Jessica Pegula took the first set 6-4. Jovic won the second set 7-5. And Pegula just won the match. 6-3 third set.
It's just amazing how Jessica Pegula continues to grind out so many deep matches and victories at 32 years old.

I was just watching it live on the Tennis Channel. I'll post highlights later on when the other semfinal match is over with.
Jessica Pegula will defend her Charleston Open Title in the Final against the Madison Keys vs. Yuliia Starodubtseva winner.

Also some other WTA news. Paula Badosa has received a main draw wild card entry for the 2026 Linz Open (WTA 500).
That event is coming up very soon. From April 6–12 in Austria. I'll be cheering for Paula Badosa to win this Tournament.

Emma Raducanu was a last minute withdraw. Paula Badosa and Mirra Andreeva were both added to the 2026 Linz Open.

The Tennis Channel just aired this important life advise from Eva Lys. I love it. I had watched the entire interview last week. <3

When you were watching the Jessica Pegula vs. Iva Jovic match did you see the crazy shadow on one side? My vision was working hard.
I had to keep glancing at my TV from less than three feet away just to see the ball. But it was a great three-set match. Pegula is amazing.

Yuliia Starodubtseva defeated Madison Keys in straight sets. 6-1 and 6-4. I was expecting three sets. LOL

The 2026 Charleston Open Final is tomorrow at 1 PM Eastern. Jessica Pegula vs. Yuliia Starodubtseva.

Jessica Pegula is trying to win her second straight Charleston Open Title. Can she get it done tomorrow?
If Yuliia Starodubtseva is able to pull it off she will definitely be moving up the WTA rankings. #89 now.

Jessica Pegula is your 2026 Charleston Open champion. Back-to-back years for her.
She defeated Yuliia Starodubtseva in straight sets. 6-2 and 6-2. A very quick match.

What's next? I'll be watching 'The 2026 Upper Austria Ladies Linz' (Linz Open) from Austria.
Paula Badosa plays Lilli Tagger in the Round of 32 on Tuesday I believe. 4 AM for me in Texas.

Can anybody defeat Jessica Pegula right now? Outside of Aryna Sabalenka and Elena Rybakina.

It's been a difficult 2026 WTA season for me because my favorite player has decided to take a break.

I love Paula Badosa. It's just been a tough time. She will hopefully come back strong later in the year.
It's all mental for her right now. I'll continue to support her though. Physically I think she looks strong.

Anyway. Let's not stress about any of this right now. Here's an Eva Lys video to cheer you up since you're an Eva Lys fan. 💖

I had watched the Peyton Stearns vs. Maria Sakkari match yesterday. First round at the 2026 Internationaux de Strasbourg

Peyton Sterns had won in straight sets (6-3, 6-1) over Sakkari. So now Peyton Stearns will play Daria Kasatkina tomorrow.
Strasbourg is a smaller Tournament. Second round is already the Round of 16. I want Stearns or Emma Raducanu to win it.
