Yeah I clear p8 with my fire sorc in act 1 normal.

Even light sorc doesnt work good at p8? Only nova?

I switched my gear now:
3/20 circ with 1 facet
2/15 sorc amu
War axe 30/30
Viper 35 + um
Phoenix
2 x soj
Arach
Mages

Gave merc:
Infy
Flickering flame

Bit more power and more res, but still weak..

Will get a circ with 2 sox to add a guardian jewel and maybe some res boots and res scs. But than i dunno what to upgrade

flickering flame on merc = free max fire res

get lr from boots/scs/amu

though your 3/20/1os circ is far worse than just using a flickering flame yourself

Fire sorc needs 30-30 weapon anyway so now it’s a 35-35 weapon
