Reed Sheppard (4-8 threes) and Jabari Smith Jr. (4-8 threes) both shot 50% from threes.
Last game Reed Sheppard shot 9-14 threes (64.2%) threes. That will be huge in the playoffs.

We all know Alperen Sengun, Amen Thompson and Kevin Durant are the big three...

But for Rockets to go deep in the playoffs Reed and Jabari both have to knock down threes like they've been doing.
Reed is an elite shooter. Jabari is like Chris Bosh. Lengthy and he can get off any good look he wants. Unblockable.

Timberwolves are definitely going to finish in the 6th seed. Rockets are now two games ahead.

It just depends on whether or not the Denver Nuggets can pass the Lakers in the final 5 games for the 3rd seed.
Denver has the tougher schedule left but without Luka the Lakers may go 2-3 or 1-4. They play Utah and Dallas.

Ideally the Rockets wiil win out and have a chance at the 4th seed and home court advantage in the first round.
But if the Rockets end up the 5th seed. I'd rather see them play the Lakers on the road instead of going to Denver.

Beating the Lakers on the road is a challenge. But no Luka, or a very slow and "0 defense" Luka if he plays with a bad hammy.
Certainly the Lakers defense would be very welcoming. Even with a healthy Luka they gave up a lot of easy points in the paint.

Rockets play at Golden State on Sunday night. 9 PM on NBC Peacock.
Stephen Curry's return after missing over two months. Huge game IMO.

The Warriors have owned us since 2015. They'll be a Play-In Team yet again.

If Warriors get in the playoffs they'll be easy work for OKC or Spurs in the first round.
So I'm not too worried about the Rockets playing the Warriors in the playoffs this year.

But I can probably rest easier at night if I actually see the Houston Rockets beat the Warriors on Sunday.

Wow! No Luka Doncic and now no Austin Reaves. The Rockets just need to win so they'll end up no worse than the 5th seed.
I'm kind of hoping the Denver Nuggets move up from 4 to 3. And the Lakers fall down to 4. Rockets vs. Lakers in the first round.
