I'm fine with people getting warned/banned for saying unhinged shit to mods—thats an obvious no-no on any website that exists.

But that subreddit banned him for a joke that didn't use any offensive language. They just thought it was "anti lgbt" lol.

Many of the reddit users are fine. Hell many of them are also jsp users here. Breakyobaals, that mod, is genuinely unhinged… and I’m sadly not joking.

He was probably banned here or scammed on here and then went insane when punished. From what I've seen, most of the scammers (at least when the victim has solid evidence) are punished pretty quickly.

That Reddit sub also shilled and sponsored real money transaction websites and banned anyone who talked bad about it. No one should give a crap what they think or do.

lol I made what felt like a fairly innocuous comment in a thread someone created asking how to trade ending iirc like 27 of the 31 comments ended up being deleted at the time because people kept suggesting jsp.

I made a comment ‘the mods should consider changing their rules as threads like this end up a bit silly’.

He surpassingly didn’t ban me. But sent me several threatening pms that he’s the ultimate power on his sub and he can do whatever he wants such as make any rules he wants and ban whomever he wants for any reason (or no reason at all) and would ban me if I ever suggest he change his rules again.

Just to prove a point that he had the power, he went and deleted a bunch of my semi-recent posts on the sub.

Which to be fair I guess he’s not wrong… he is the “ultimate power” on his sub. Was one of the weirdest exchanges I’ve ever had with someone though.

I roam around here on a daily basis and I can say with confidence that whatever reason anyone would have to dislike this community is fully justified.

Moderating in an online space for games is.. well.. let's just say very, very few can do it without it going to their head. My theory is people like the guy you're describing have never had any semblance of power in their entire life and once they have the ability to enforce their will and others don't have the option to say "no, I don't want that", they get absolutely drunk on that (imaginary) power.

Just be thankful he's just a moderator for a 26 year old game subreddit and is likely disabled or stuck to his couch/bed and he's not something like a nurse or judge in real life.

I never said jspers were dumb… jspers are smart and cunning as hell… but toxic to the core. D2’s community has always been toxic since day1 and most of them are on jsp, including me.

I agree that blizz forums are the worst group of idiots and redditors are idiots who pretend like theyre smart, which is equally as bad.
