Idk, I do split farming p8 on my dmachine enchantress all the time and I'd say it's like a B tier build... Probably the same tier as just regular fireball. I think the clear speed is actually just a little faster, but mine is geared with all the pre buff gear + infinity. It needs a lot more to get it going than just a regular fireball sorc and yeah, it's safer too.

thx for all your help.

so i added now 4 fire skillers and make 17k fire ball dmg. Also i got very low res (only cold is max, fire is -90, rest middle)

actually running 200 fcr
i have a new fire jewel in my hellwardens will, and a 5/5 facett in my 3/20 eschuta

also anni, torch and -10efr sunder

if i want to stay at 200 fcr i think i can only add some res charms and maybe upgrade my viper to a better one (actually 26res + 5/4 facett) and maybe um it.

my merc has actually:
insight, duriel shell, tal mask.

i can upgrade him to infy, rald andy and forty. but i think than i will run out mana. and i cant switch to phoenix if i want to run 200 fcr.

i like running 200 fcr for tele and so on but yeah.. even at p1 i die sometimes lol xD

200 fcr is kinda balls for fireball unless it's pvp, then I've seen 200 fcr ESFB.. which is still kinda balls.

Also if you switched to demon machine enchantress you can run infinity with no insight, because you max warmth.

I'll just paste my gear down below:

Main gear:
Demon machine socketed with 15 ias / 15 all res jewel.
3 fire skill, 20 fcr, 2os diadem with 2x 5/5 fire facets
3 fire skill, 10 fcr ammy
24fhr/4os Wyrmhide with 4x 5/5 fire facets
Magefist gloves
Horazon boots
2x opalvein rings with fire
Razortail belt
Sunder, 7x fire skillers, 8x frw/mana and various res small charms, torch and anni

Pre buff gear:
3 fire skills 3 enchant 2 (3 would be perfect) fire mastery 2 sockets orb with 2x 5/5 fire facets
Spirit monarch
2x sojs
Ormus with 15% fire (base, 20 total from facet) and +3 enchant and 5/5 fire facet

Merc:
Cure when doing lower player count / eth Andy's with 15ias 30fr players 8 tz
Eth infinity
Eth fort


Skills: max the following—warmth enchant fire mastery telekinesis and rest into energy Shield, make sure to get 1 points into frozen armor and i put 1 points into Hydra that I do cast sometimes just while taking down a boss or herald.

With proper small charms you can usually have roughly 30/40 all res and you have range + energy shield to help mitigate most of the danger.

Have fun if you decide to use it, it really is strong. It's not an S tier build, but neither is fireball sorc.

Ya firesorc is amazing, like not as good as lock, mosaic, java, but in the next tier with lite sorc.

However the build is 6 facet weap, phoenix shield, 3/20 2 facet circlet, magefist, viper facet, arachs, and then soj/fcr rings depending on ammy. And infinity merc.

Demon machine sorc is very comparable, does more dmg but shoots slower. Firesorc slightly better imo because you will want Stormshield for some areas if doing full clears.

Also I would put the new jewel in the 6 socket wep, since it can be shared with all other fire toons.

Lots of people just trying to convince op to change his build to enchantress.

@op, those are 2 very different builds...

Enchantress is very good at density destroying. Her exploding arrows pierce through multiple targets and trigger an explosion each time, so more density = more explosions = more dmg per target.
She has low dmg vs single targets, cuz she does not benefit from those 'stacking' explosions.
So it's a good option for general pvm, but it sucks at what a fire sorc is good at.

Fire sorc.
She's very good at elite/boss sniping, hunting heralds, baal runs (where she can just stack meteor's fire patch to instantly obliterate each wave).
But she has very small AoE, so she sucks at density destroying compared to the enchantress (or any better S tier caster).

so... hopefully this can help you make a choice.
But again... if you chose to keep her as a fire sorc, you should really drop to 105 fcr and prioritize fire pen. 200fcr sucks really hard, you shouldn't try to fix your build, you should rework it.

This build looks good.

I would also prefer staying a fire sorc.

Could use most of my gear and i could use flickering as helm and instead of sojs i take my opalveins for fcr.

U know how much fireball dmg this build has?

ideally put FF on merc
opalvein is gg on anything but sorc... cuz the +% fire is only added to your fire mastery (not multiplying your dmg like on other builds)
sojs give much more dmg, but also tons of mana (which means also much more mana regen)
I just linked a bunch of expensive gear, you don't need anything perfect to get this going... plain skillers, plain res scs, nothing fancy needed for pvm



it shows all details, just look at the calculation tabs
but you should know that 'flat dmg' shown on the skill means nothing... it's all about real effective dmg, and this comes from fire pen.
