It seems watchable. Cool concept. Might give it a try down the line. As Johnny Depp says to the cop in the pull-over space; "Thanks for the tip" ^^
However, binging Auf wiedersehn, Pet. English series made in the 80's, following English bricklayers looking for work in Germany. It has a novelty factor to it, and quite a bit of charm, yet it does not go over the top. It has a lot of nostalgia and many fans - i give it a 7/10 myself, it does not deserve any more. It's quite easy watching. Season 1 is best, 2 is so-so, 3 is the new season 20 years later, and will probably appeal more to American viewers, since there also is an American (or Native American ^^) taking part in it eventually. It is also not a long season, only 6 episodes i think. It deserves a 7/10 that one also, the acting is decent, pacing too, still camera (no shaking bs). Jimmy Nail does a good job of portraying the delinquent weirdo of the group with occasional bouts of brilliance.
Season 4 and 5 is almost not worth watching, they are very .. strange versions of the series, sadly, it shines through that the acting is not on par with the earlier seasons. Or .. at least the production is not. More shaky camera and all that bs. There is content to it, and it is not hard to follow. It just does not have the charm of the previous seasons.
I can mention Colditz and Secret army as well, they are true masterpieces from that era, 70's and 80's, real gems that everyone should watch.
