It literally wouldn't. He's asking for something that can't/won't happen. Doesn't matter why he wants it.

Maybe there is another way to help him. There is always more than one solution to a problem.

There is no solution. He probably has a gambling problem or something and wants to lock himself out because he has no self control. Jsp will not lock his gold unless he scams someone. That's not a real solution.

There is a solution to a gambling problem and locking fg wont help. He would just go gamble somewhere else, in that situation there is a solution and its called therapy

the honest truth is this, i have 2 companies in real life and i am addicted to path of exile and making trades here.

i could buy any amount of fg i want, but i enjoy making trades since old days of dota, diablo, etc

i tought if i can lock my gold i wont focus on grinding anymore because i have no motivation of building currency to trade here :))

sounds silly, but this gives me joy.

i can do big amount of money per hour but i go in gaming.

at this moment honestly i dont want to have fg locked, i need to find balance on my own.
