which combo is better crescent moon + spirit or infinity self use ?

infinity because it allows you to use an insight merc with prayer and cure

I prefer this build over self wield for p8 tz farming.

only advantage w/ self wield is merc insight but mana regen isnt an issue anyway.

why prayer ?

synergy with cleansing and meditation, triple life regen

ES self wield infinity nova sorc is the only one. E treks or a nice tri res fhr/frw/90+ with high poison res boots, only res you need to max since ES protects from other res. Use a non eth infinity for cyclone armor to protect against tele to souls or dolls. Stack on skillers with FHR, 17 mana scs

prayer cure insight COH merc - nothing beats this combo

I have an enigma-cmoon on NL and self-wield on ladder, and self-wield is deffo better solo.

If you have pocket portal-barb whose merc wears insight that you bring in on heralds, then enigma sorc is better vs heralds due to larger mana pool.

No FCR on enigma too clunky plus dmg goes to mana which drains ES even faster. Nova sorc is about speed. Unless you can make it up on ammy and rings. But you would have to sacrifice an SOJ for that which you give up mana (basically your life pool) and 1+ skill/dmg. I have ran nova sorcs every szn until warlocks came, so I’ve tried all types
