I remember last time there was a trick to delay the ancient quest as late as possible, some even to level 98, so to get the fixed exp at high level.
Is this still a thing to do?

Not as useful as it used to be as you get way more exp/h now with TZ.

Probably not as useful as it once was, especially after the Terror Zones were introduced and probably even less effective now with the introduction of Shards etc.

Definitely don’t want to save Hell ancients now that TZs exist. I guess you can save norm/nm if you’re getting g/crushed but it won’t move the needle much now with TZs.

Tzing on 98 lvl in random pubs and zones which is most common method unless you are streamer with puppies gives you avg 10-14 m/hour.

Ancients give 61 m.

fair enough, I was basing it on solo p8 96tz, either way, saves you about 30-120 mins.
