How would you suggest dealing with Lebanon?
Let them bomb us to oblivion… what do Lebanon even want?

does it get confusing suggesting one day that Iran has done zero damage to Tel Aviv and that all videos are AI, while the next day claiming that Lebanon will bomb you into oblivion?

so Iran with all of it's ballistic missiles can't damage you, but a Lebanese proxy with much lower tech and lower damage homebrew missiles is such a grave threat that you have to invade and steal their land to make a buffer?

Bibi so smooth that he even has israelis against the greater israel project inadvertently supporting it.

step 1: acquire an oil country (Venezuela)
step 2: create a conflict which drives up the price of oil (Iran)
step 3: blame the lack of assistance on countries who get their oil from the region (Straight of Hormuz)
step 4: sell oil??? (create global destabilization to gain more control)
step 5: profit

Most people have or are beginning to think the USA didn't actually have a plan.

But maybe, just maybe they did have a plan, and the chaos that's ensued in the straight of hormuz was part of that plan.

If we look at trumps political history, he's used a lot of chaos to create something out of nothing.

Lebanon is a failed state. It’s an either/or scenario:

Either (a) the Lebanese government is actively sponsoring attacks on Israel—in which case the government should be removed.
Or (b) the Lebanese government must arrest all terrorist groups in Lebanon to stop attacks on Israel.

In reality, the Lebanese government is too weak to do either. It cannot control Hezbollah, and it cannot prevent attacks from the south. That’s why Lebanon functions as a failed state: nothing will change until either the government becomes Hezbollah—unifying all the armed groups—or becomes strong enough to detain Hezbollah as a terrorist organization. Only then could Lebanon make real decisions about its own security and its relationship with Israel, rather than being dragged into conflict it cannot control.

The problem for Israel is that, like the US, it often tries to solve problems with war. Bombing a neighbor usually creates long-term distrust, resentment, and hatred rather than solving the underlying problem.

you ask what does Lebanon want - I would say the country is too fractured to have a single coherent "want".

have you noticed an interesting pattern yet? places that aren't a grave threat (Lebanon, Gaza) get demolished and taken over. Places that are a great threat, Iran, you poke them then let the USA take on the real costs.

do they let Israel bomb them into oblivion or do they defend themselves?

what does Israel even want ? ( I know the answer to this, they want to destroy everyone that isnt an Israeli/ Jew so they can be 'safe')
