Currently I'm trying the following:

1 PTR install and openning a game / character
2 ROTW see if it's fixed
3 the roll back of NVIDIA drivers as there may be an issue with the RTX 5070Ti newest version
4. get windows 10 22h2
5. quit gaming? no

change driver locations on the board. could be a simple issue with a bad plug in location. I literally had a plug in for one of my fans cause my whole computer to go crazy and kept crashing my comp, changed the plug in location and viola we found out that it was a board issue that was somehow interacting with the Ram from the fan.... Strangest shit I had ever heard of but sometimes the simplest and weirdest thing can be the culprit. Have you tested your RAM individually to see if one is corrupt? if all else fails try going into safe mode and totally reinstalling drivers

Hey, this is a known issue with new GPUs (especially RTX 50xx) + D2R/D2RotW.

It’s almost always DX12 + shader cache + overlay conflicts.

Try this step by step:

1) In Battle.net → Game Settings → add:
-dx11

2) Delete shader cache:
C:\Users\YOURNAME\Saved Games\Diablo II Resurrected
C:\Users\YOURNAME\AppData\Local\NVIDIA\DXCache
C:\Users\YOURNAME\AppData\Local\NVIDIA\GLCache

3) Disable Hardware Accelerated GPU Scheduling (Windows Graphics settings)

4) Disable ALL overlays:
- Nvidia overlay
- Discord overlay
- Xbox Game Bar

5) Add also:
-w

6) In Nvidia Control Panel → cap FPS to 60 or 120

7) If you're on latest driver → try rolling back one version

does anyone here have steps to restrict d2r to quad core?

also, have you tried installing an older geforce 5070ti driver in a clean install?

I actually like the graphics more this way

But i do understand you wanting that GG pc to work properly.
Seems like have more knowledge. Hope you find a solution!

I have tried this and it seems like it fixed the issue.

Playing on max settings now, not a single bug / texture issue.
Load screen is fine, colours are perfect.

WIll do some more testing. can't believe it if that's the fix LOL

Trust me I didnt believe it myself but I was hopeless and tried everything. My pc was brand new.

Make sure it's allowed through your firewall

i had also some sound and graphic bugs, ended up reinsatlling 4 times. every install other issues. But after the 4th times everything works as it should.....

had this problem, reset CMOS and it will be ok
