Does the might aura apply to the "splitted bolts" or only the original thrown javelin?

Cuz from what I read on AB it sounds like the split bolts are strictly lightning damage. And would benefit greatly from 2x Opalvein

This is correct

Might is nice elsewhere. But in cows with their huge density a pair of Silkweaves solves all your mana problems. You can have more mana leech or maek, but it really doesn’t matter for cows.

I’d rather use defiance just so my merc is less likely to die to the cows personally.

can still be a bit of an issue in p8 if he goes tstroke, which he really should considering the new jewel.

whoreson boots is a new option over silkweave which means he'll rely even more on ml

might applies to all physical dmg dealt, which is both the initial guaranteed hit and all pierced hits. physical dmg is only a tiny percentage of your dmg output but it's still enough to leech back a lot of mana

I don’t think there is a ton of benefit in trying to min/max for cows, in spite of what this thread is asking. Get some mana after kill, use titans (I love Tstrokes but unecessary in cows so you as well use Java with self replenish). Get enigma and infinity for your merc and then you’re set.

Horazons boots are nice for a lot of builds and a lot of uses. But again, for cows they don’t offer anything substantive over Silkweaves. But if you really wanna use them dual opalviens +Horazons boots give you basically the same thing as Silkweaves+raven frost+random 10fcr ring, but at greater cost.
